Seven days a week, holidays included. We’re on Highway 9 in the middle of Boulder Creek — if you’re driving to or from Big Basin, you go right past us.

7 AM – 9 PM, every day
The door locks automatically at 9 PM. A wash and a dry together run about 90 minutes, so start your last load by 7:30 to finish comfortably.

Parking
Pull right in — it’s a free lot, no meters and no permit. There’s room for a truck with a rooftop carrier, a van, or a car with bikes on the back. You will not be circling the block with an armful of laundry.
Paying
Cashless. Use the app (code THEMAT) or top up a card at the kiosk inside. No coins, no change machine.

Written directions
Cell signal in these mountains is a rumour. Here’s the route in words, in case the map won’t load.
From Santa Cruz (south)
Take Highway 9 north through Felton, Ben Lomond and Brookdale. About 20 minutes past Felton you’ll come into downtown Boulder Creek. We’re on your right, with the parking lot in front.
From Saratoga / Highway 35 (north)
Highway 9 south over the summit and down through the redwoods. Stay on 9 until the road flattens into town. We’re on the left as you reach the middle of Boulder Creek.
From Big Basin & the campgrounds
Follow Big Basin Way (Highway 236) back down to Highway 9 and turn left. We’re a couple of minutes along on the right — roughly a 20 minute drive from the park entrance.
Driving through?
If you’re charging, eating, or just breaking up the drive over the hill, this is a good place to do it. Start a load, walk into town, come back to clean laundry. Nobody will hurry you along.
